The Committee
The Samaritan Medal Committee represents the four main branches of the Abrahamic tradition—Samaritanism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Chairman
Editor of A.B.—The Samaritan News and tireless world advocate of the Samaritan people and their rich historical traditions, Chancellor Benyamim Tsedaka chairs the Medal Committee.
RALPH BENKO
Secretary
The honorary envoy of the Samaritan people to the US, Ralph Benko works in public and government affairs in Washington, DC, with a focus on human rights advocacy, as a principal of Capital City Partners. A former Reagan White House agency deputy general counsel, Benko is involved in numerous civic, political, and cultural causes.
MICHAEL DOBSON
Michael Dobson is the author of over twenty books, primarily in the area of business, including three historical novels. Through his firm Dobson Solutions, he consults and trains in the areas of project management and organizational effectiveness. He is also on the board of the Reverend James M. Singer Foundation.
HUMAYUN MIRZA
Humayun Mirza is the son of Iskander Mirza, first president of Pakistan, and a retired World Bank executive. Mirza flew for the Pakistani Air Force and played on the Pakistan national cricket team. He holds an MBA from Harvard University. He is the author of From Plassey to Pakistan, a history of the British Raj and the founding of Pakistan seen from the perspective of his distinguished ancestors, the Nawab Nazims of Bengal, Bihar, and Orissa.
The Medal
The Samaritan Medal is made of pure silver, two inches in diameter, with a scene from the parable of the Good Samaritan on the front, and the sacred Mount Gerizim on the reverse. It was designed by award-winning artist Steve Stiles. Stiles has worked in virtually every medium from comic strips to modern abstracts. This is his first medal design.
